Welcome Elise Heckmann, 2025 Marketing Intern

Elise Heckmann joined the Marketing and Communications team at ETS as the 2025 Summer Marketing and Communications Intern. We are excited to have her on our team this summer, and she is excited about all the experiences and knowledge she will gain.

She is a dual major in Marketing and Communications at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Her interest in communication comes from watching her father, who works in the communications field, as she grew up. She also has many interests outside of school. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, building Lego sets, traveling, meeting new people, and baking.

Elise hopes this internship and her summer experiences will help further her career. As part of her internship, she will get the opportunity to attend trade shows. At the shows, she will take pictures and videos. She hopes this experience will help her learn how to take the best photos that people enjoy seeing and will be engaging on social media.  As stated above, she also loves meeting new people. She will interact with current and prospective customers while learning more about the agriculture industry at the shows. Say hi when you see her!

Another aspect of her internship is helping with our social media pages, whether that is developing content for the shows or showing off the SoilWarrior in pictures or videos. Working on business pages differs from working on personal pages, and she hopes this internship will expose her to the best ways of engaging an audience on a business page.
