Members of the ETS team are frequent guests on the Ag Ph. D. Radio show. The following episode is related to the topic of Magnesium & Manganese.
A good reminder is to look at your soil pH before making any decisions. Magnesium isn’t available in soils that are acidic and lower than a pH of six so liming might be better to go with than adding more of the nutrient. Sulfur applications are important to manage correctly because it is so toxic to the seed. Eric recommends varying zones and strips to help move microbes. Check it out!
