Fixing Low pH Soil

Members of the ETS team are frequent guests on the Ag Ph. D. Radio show.  The following episode is related to the topic of Fixing Low pH Soil.

ETS agronomist, Eric Moore, discusses fixing low pH soil with Brian and Darren Hefty. Eric suggests applying lime before strip-tilling to incorporate it into the soil to get the full effect for root mass growth. Eric recommends pelletized lime for faster response time and better efficiency. In the case of irrigated land, high pHs are more common and harder to work with than low pH land.
