As a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agricultural & Biological Systems Engineering, Chris has spent many years in the industry as a design engineer with a company out of Iowa.

After living in Iowa for last 25 years, his wife, Tracie, took a job at Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU) which led Chris to seek out the opportunity to work at ETS.

My wife was hired at MSU, and we had plans to move to the area. This opportunity presented itself, and it seemed like a good fit offering me a chance to continue working with farm equipment as well as advancing my career. I look forward to learning all about strip tillage and the SoilWarrior, and I am excited to offer anything I can to improve the product as well as to develop it further.

Chris is excited to influence the future of the SoilWarrior product lines and to bring more innovation to the strip-till industry. With his significant experience in agricultural engineering, ETS CEO, Kevin Born, is enthusiastic about what Chris can offer the company. “We look forward to seeing where Chris and his team can take ETS in the coming years – his expansive and practical knowledge of agricultural equipment manufacturing is a perfect fit to help us achieve our growth and leadership goals as well as our objectives of the next 5 years.”

When Chris isn’t at work, you can find him hanging out with his wife and four boys watching Major League Baseball, college football, NASCAR or shooting some clays.

Welcome to the team, Chris; it's great to have you here!
